I'd really appreciate your input on the following logos:
1.
2.
3.
4.
5.
There you have it, five different logos.
For number 5, I tried to use black text, but it comes blurry when converted into a jpg, so had to go with yellow.
They're listed here in the order I created them.
PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHICH YOU LIKE BEST, IF ANY.
OH, while you're here PLEASE sign up - the opt-in is on the top right sidebar!
Thanks a bunch,
Karen

I would go with #1, although #4 is also cool.
Well done!
Wow, difficult choice. I like number 4 I think although the colorful ones draw attention I think number 4 looks more professional and makes a statement that you are here to stay.
Karen, I don't care for the first two. The fourth is lovely, but strikes me as a great book cover rather than a logo. I think either the third or the fifth would make a great logo. I'm slightly partial to the fifth.
Hi Karen,
I like the 5th one. It's clear and crisp. Some of the others are grainy.
All the best,
Donna
Shirl, I'm partial to #1 and 2, but know a lot of others wouldn't go for them.
I do love #4, but as Maggie says it kind of looks like a book cover.
Thanks for the input!
Terri, I agree. That's my favorite - I'll have to see if I can tweak it so it doesn't look like a book.
Thanks for the input!
Maggie, you're right about #4 looking like a book. Rather than having to start all over again - it is time consuming creating designs - I'm thinking of #5.
Thanks for the input!
Donna, Yeah, I added the grain for different approaches. Number 5 is clean. And, what I like about #5 is the earth's two different sides - it kind of represents the artists' side.
Thanks for the input!
Number 1, with the globe of number 2.
Hi Karen. This is the order in which I like each of the logos:
1 - #2
2 - #4
3 - #5
4 - #3
5 - #1
Best wishes in finding a logo that works for you.
Number 5! It shows the duality of reality and imagination. Excellent.
Also love number 4. Nice graphics.
Good luck. Have fun.
Pamela
Tanja, #1 and 2 have the same globe, I just tweaked them differently. But, I can see how the different textured globe from #2 would work well in #1. Thanks for the input!
Susanne, That's close to the order I would choose! Thanks for the input!
Pamela, I'm with you on #4 - it definitely has the reality and imagination element going for it. Thanks for the input!
I like #5. I also like #4.
Oops. Pamela, I meant #5. :)
Kathy, it seems like #5 is in the lead. Thanks for the input!
I like number 3 most. Good luck!
Mayra, Thanks for the input. I think #3 is low man on the totem poll, so far!
l like #1, #2 and #4 probably because l find red very aggressive as a colour lol
Thanks for the input Annie. Red isn't a favorite of mine either, but the shade blended in with the globes. :)
I think they are all great, however the colorful ones seem kind of sci fi. I like one and two. Two has my vote. That is just one person's opinion.
My vote is for #5
#1 and #2 have an 'olde worlde' look to them (not necessarily a bad thing - just not my cup of tea)
As someone else mentioned, #3 and #4 look like SF.F book covers (also not necessarily a bad thing)
#5 combines the concept of the physical world through which all writers must be able to navigate and the less tangible world of our creativity. The yellow text on red background works really well too.
The only one I don't like is #1 (blurry). #5 is my favourite, but I do like #4 too (though I agree that it looks like a book I'd like to read!).
I like #2 best.
I like the colors in #4 and #5 and wonder if you could color #2 somehow.

Marge, it's each individual opinion that matters and contributes to the total. I appreciate your input!
Widdershin, All in all that's what I was looking for - the writer's two worlds. Nicely put! Thanks for your input!
Maggie, LOL not many like #1. I like the old look to it, but it doesn't work for a logo. Thanks for your input!
Ann, Yes, I can change the colors and texture on all of them. But, this poll is a good way of finding what type of design and the coloring that works best. Thanks for your input.
It looks like #2 and #5 are taking the lead.
